What Investment do Nevis and St Kitts Require?

Citizenship may be obtained by either donating a minimum of US $250,000 to a Government established charity called the SIDF or by buying real estate in St Kitts or Nevis in one of the approved projects with a minimum investment of US $400,000. Most of our clients prefer the real estate option as they can sell the real estate after 5 years to re-coup their investment. What is the Process to Obtain Citizenship by Investment?

Coldwell Banker's office on St Kitts and Nevis will guide you through the whole process including selecting the right property, assisting you to complete the citizenship application through our associated authorized CIU agent and will act as your escrow agent to make sure that all your payments for you property purchase, Government fees and application fees are all made in a timely fashion.

What are the Government Fees for Citizenship by Investment?

1. Due Diligence for Application

US $7,500.00 for due diligence and processing fees for the main applicant.

US $4,000.00 for due diligence background checks and processing fees for each dependent over 16 years.

2. Real Estate Option for Application

Minimum Investment required is US $400,000.00

Cost on approval in principle of an application:

  • US $50,000.00 for the main applicant

  • US $25,000.00 for the spouse of main applicant

  • US $25,000.00 for each child of the main applicant under 18 years

  • US $50,000.00 for each qualified dependent of the main applicant over 18 years other than his spouse

3. Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation Contributions

The amounts below are inclusive of all Government fees payable for the main applicant and his or her dependents with the exception of due diligence background fees.

  • US $250,000.00 for Single Applicant

  • US $300,000.00 for Applicant with up to three dependents

  • US $350,000.00 for Applicant with up to five dependents

  • US $450,000.00 for Applicant with up to seven dependent

  • US $50,000.00 for additional contribution for each dependent above seven dependents

The fee for each Certificate of Registration is US $47.00.

What are the Coldwell Banker Fees for Citizenship Application?

In addition to the Government fees, Coldwell Banker charges a single applicant US$20,000 and US$10,000 for each additional dependent. These applications are processed through our authorized Citizenship by Investment Unit Agent at no additional cost.

Other Fees may apply for Citizenship by Inversment?

For clients that want citizenship through St Kitts or Nevis real estate purchase, there are legal fees of 1-2% of the purchase price to register Title to the purchased property. In most developments the alien landholding License fee to Government of 10% of the purchase price has been waived. However this may still be levied in some properties.
